For the first time, we are looking for sponsors for this event. Sponsorships will help defray the costs of managing a race so that more funds can go to the charity. It costs a lot of money to manage an event like this. We are looking to expand this race and looking to expand the business season for Montauk. Businesses can stay open a little longer and attract more customers the bigger this event gets.
Is your business open to the end of November or beyond? We can bring more people to this event if they had a place to stay, a place to eat and places to shop. Black Friday could be a Montauk destination.
There are other events in Montauk to attract visitors. The lighting of the lighthouse is a big draw. We could start new events, perhaps in your place of business.
